Your session, step by step

From sitting down to asking for more credits — everything a student needs, in order.

  1. Step 1

    Sign in to your lab

    This computer is already signed in to its lab account. Open jain.mileslabs.ai and press Sign in to your lab — no password to type.

  2. Step 2

    Check your credits

    Your dashboard shows how many Copilot credits this computer has left for the batch. It updates every 30 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    Open Copilot Studio and build

    One click opens this computer's own lab workspace in Copilot Studio. Build, test and run your agents there.

  4. Step 4

    Running low? Ask for more

    Pick an add-on, add a line about why, and send it. One request at a time, so there is never a queue of duplicates.

  5. Step 5

    Approved, and back to building

    The Miles team reviews requests. Once approved, the credits show on your dashboard. At the end of the batch everything is cleared for the next group.

Four rules for a shared lab

Short, and the same for everyone in the room.

    Educational use only

    The lab, its accounts and its credits are for your coursework.

  2. 02

    Lab data only

    Build with the sample files your faculty provides. Real client or personal data never goes into an agent.

  3. 03

    Shared computer

    The next batch sits where you sit. Don't save personal passwords, accounts or files on this machine.

  4. 04

    Cleared every batch

    Agents, flows and files are removed so the next batch starts fresh. Export anything you want to keep.

Help

Questions in the lab

I can't sign in.

Use the lab computer's own account — it is already filled in. If Microsoft asks for a password, don't type a personal one; call the lab assistant.

Copilot Studio says I'm out of credits.

Open your dashboard and request +500 or +1,000 credits with a line about why. The Miles team approves it, and it shows on your dashboard straight away.

Where did my agent go?

Agents, flows and files are cleared at the end of every batch so the next group starts fresh. Ask your faculty how to keep a copy before your last session.

Can I use my own files or a real client's data?

No. Build only with the sample files your faculty provides. Real client or personal data never goes into an agent.

Something else isn't working.

Tell the lab assistant or your faculty in the room. They can see this computer's lab account and reach the Miles team.
